A more accessible way to pay for support

I believe that everyone deserves access to skilled, compassionate breastfeeding support — regardless of financial situation.

To help make this possible, I offer a sliding scale pricing system.

This means you choose what to pay based on your current circumstances.

Why I Offer a Sliding Scale

In my work, I see how vital early feeding support is — not just for feeding, but for confidence, wellbeing, and family life.

At the same time, I know that cost can be a real barrier.

A sliding scale allows:

  • Those who can pay more to support the sustainability of the work

  • Those who need a lower rate to access care still

  • A more honest, community-minded way of working

  • It’s a small way of trying to make support more equitable.

How It Works

Each service has three price options:

Supporter rate

Standard rate

Accessible rate

There is no application process and no proof required.

I trust you to choose the option that best reflects your financial reality.

Choosing Your Rate

You might choose based on how easily you can meet your basic needs like housing, food, transport, and healthcare.

Here’s a gentle guide to help:

Supporter Rate

You might choose this if:

  • You comfortably meet your basic needs

  • You have disposable income and/or savings

  • You can afford non-essential items and experiences

  • You have financial flexibility

Choosing this rate helps support the sustainability of this work and makes space for others to access lower-cost care.

Standard Rate

You might choose this if:

  • You meet your needs, but need to budget carefully

  • You have some disposable income

  • You can afford extras occasionally

This is a balanced, standard rate.

Accessible Rate

You might choose this if:

  • You find it difficult to consistently meet your basic needs

  • You have little or no disposable income

  • Cost is a barrier to accessing support

This option exists so that you can still receive care when you need it.

A Note on Trust

This system is built on trust and honesty.

There is no judgment, no checking, and no expectation — just an invitation to reflect and choose what feels right for you.

Support Should Feel Possible

Reaching out for support can feel like a big step.

Cost shouldn’t be the thing that stops you.

  • “I honestly don’t think I would have continued breastfeeding without the support I received. I’d been told everything ‘looked fine’ but I was in so much pain. She listened, really listened, and gently helped me make small changes that made such a big difference. I finally feel confident feeding my baby.”

  • “The drop-in group has been a lifeline. It’s not just about feeding support—it’s being around other mums who get it. I always leave feeling lighter, more reassured, and a lot less alone.”

  • “The home visit was worth every penny. Having someone come into my space, take the time to observe a full feed, and explain things clearly made such a difference. I felt seen, supported, and never rushed.”

  • “I was so worried about being judged because I was combination feeding, but there was nothing but support. I was given realistic, practical advice that worked for my situation. No pressure, just kindness.”

  • “I went from doubting everything I was doing to actually trusting myself"
