I take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how I collect, use, and protect your information when you use my services.

When you book a service with me, I may collect:

  • Your name, contact details (phone, email, address)

  • Information about your pregnancy, baby, and health relevant to feeding support

  • Notes from consultations

  • Payment information (processed securely by my booking/payment system – I do not store your card details)

2. How I Use Your Information

I use your information to:

  • Provide consultations and support services

  • Keep professional records in line with my role as a Midwife and IBCLC

  • Contact you about your appointments and follow-up support

  • Maintain financial and administrative records as required by law

3. How Your Information is Stored

  • Records are stored securely and only accessible to me.

  • Electronic records are password protected; paper records (if any) are kept securely.

  • I keep consultation notes for 8 years (or until your child is 25 if they were seen as a baby/child), in line with healthcare record-keeping standards.

4. Sharing Your Information

  • I will never share your personal information with third parties for marketing.

  • I may share information with other healthcare professionals (e.g. GP, midwife, health visitor) but only with your consent.

  • In rare cases, I may need to share information without consent if required by law or if there is a serious concern about your or your baby’s safety.

5. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the information I hold about you

  • Ask me to correct any inaccurate information

  • Ask me to delete your records (unless I am legally required to keep them)

  • Withdraw your consent at any time
